TeamKinetic News and Events

First things first, we’re very happy to announce we’re close to hitting 5 million hours logged via TeamKinetic! This is an incredible stat, and we’re very proud to have facilitated volunteering for all our users over the years. Here’s to 5 million more!

Guest Masterclass on Wednesday 6th!

Paddy Hanrahan, founder of Patchworks and an experienced leader in the UK volunteering space, will be delivering a Masterclass tomorrow on Wednesday 6th! Last tickets available here.

As a volunteer manager, you likely know exactly what kind of difference your organisation makes on the ground. But do you ever struggle to evidence that impact in ways that funders, trustees, and partners actually trust?

This practical, one-hour masterclass explores how volunteer-led community organisations can move beyond simple stories and activity counts to provide clear, credible evidence of impact. All without over-complicating things or needing to become a data and evaluation expert.

Drawing on real examples from community organisations, this session will help you:

  • Strengthen your funding applications with better impact evidence.
  • Increase your confidence in conversations with partners and stakeholders.
  • Adopt practical, proportionate approaches to evaluation that actually work for small and medium-sized organisations where time and capacity are limited.

You can book onto Masterclasses now via your system (Help & Support → Masterclasses & Training). If you’re not a TeamKinetic user, you can join us for Paddy’s Masterclass via this page.

Paddy has been an experienced leader in the UK volunteering space for a while, but now he’s sharing his expertise via Patchworks.

Patchworks is a new organisation helping community organisations produce independent evidence of their impact. You can visit their website via this link. And connect with Paddy on LinkedIn, here.

We’re always looking for new topics to cover in these Masterclasses. If there’s anything regarding the TeamKinetic system that you’re not quite sure on, you can suggest it via email, live chat or support ticket, and we’ll add it to our list of topics to cover.

You can also watch all past Masterclasses via the TeamKinetic YouTube channel.

Have you discovered everything the new update has to offer?

We released a huge new update to TeamKinetic last month! It included a few headline features such as Flows, Multiple Location Opportunities, and Volunteer ‘Find a Friend’, among a lot of little behind-the-scenes improvements.

We hosted a launch Masterclass for this update, where Rolf went through these big features and what you need to know about them. You can catch the recording here:

Flows

Flows is a self-contained engine that seamlessly moves your volunteers through onboarding steps. By putting ID checks, references, and training onto a single, automated dashboard, a well-built Flow can save you up to 25 manual steps per volunteer. Read more on Flows here.

Multi-Location Opportunities

You no longer need to endure the painful admin of creating dozens of duplicate opportunities to cover different locations. You can now house unlimited locations under one single opportunity, featuring an interactive map with live capacity tracking for your volunteers. Read more on Multi-Location Opportunities here.

Volunteer Info Sharing

You can now allow volunteers to see who else is signed up for an opportunity and contact them. If this sort of thing isn’t your cup of tea, don’t worry. You can turn the feature itself on/off in Settings. There are a few other controls too, based on what level of information to share, and you can control which opportunities it happens on.
