Willowbrook Hospice: Christmas Tree Recycling
There are Christmas Tree Recycling schemes all across the UK, where people will collect your tree after the holidays and take it to a recycling centre for you.
If you’re based in Liverpool, our friends over at Willowbrook Hospice are joining forces with Just Helping to offer a Christmas tree recycling service to selected postcodes across the area.
If you’re not based in the area, you’ll be able to find a scheme near you by Googling ‘Christmas Tree Recycling [Location]’.
Nene Park Trust: Winter Festival 2023
If you live in or around Peterborough, the Nene Park Trust are hosting a Winter Festival where they’ve turned a secluded woodland in Ferry Meadows into an enchanted forest. The festival will run through December, from the 1st to the 24th, and is perfect for getting in the festive mood.
The festival includes access to a unique travelling cinema, vintage fairground, food and drink vendors and a pop-up Christmas shop. Tickets cost £9.50 per person (free for under 3’s) and all proceeds are reinvested into the park.
