An Unmissable Masterclass: Winning Back Volunteers
This week, we’re hosting a masterclass in volunteer re-engagement. The session will be led by Tobi Johnson, an internationally recognised expert and advisor in volunteer management and engagement.
‘How to Plan a Wildly Successful Volunteer “Win-Back” Campaign‘ will look at one of the most cost-effective ways to boost your program’s capacity: winning your old volunteers back.
In the Masterclass, you’ll learn to create “win-back” messaging that differs from regular recruitment calls to action. You’ll also explore how to use volunteer objections to strengthen your appeals and get fresh ideas to connect with lapsed volunteers in new ways.
Book now via your system (Help & Support → Masterclasses & Training), or get tickets online via this page.
We’re always looking for new topics to cover in these Masterclasses. If there’s anything regarding the TeamKinetic system that you’re not quite sure on, you can suggest it via email, live chat or support ticket, and we’ll add it to our list of topics to cover.
You can watch all past Masterclasses via the TeamKinetic YouTube channel.
Our latest system update summarised
In case you didn’t know, late last year we released our latest update to the TeamKinetic system. It included a lot of things to make your volunteer management easier. From customising what your admin users can do, to new integrations and search filters.
We held a masterclass on the biggest features, which you can watch below.
We also wrote up a quick Q&A based on initial user feedback/customer support requests and questions asked in the above session. You can read that here.
Or you can read this blog post, which goes through every new feature in full.
Digital in Volunteering – Community of Practice
Recap: AI in Volunteering
We recently had an excellent session on AI in Volunteering, looking at the nuances of arguments for and against AI. Our speakers shared their work into AI and how they use it themselves in the context of their job roles. It sparked an interesting debate with issues such as trust, ethics, and environmental concerns raised.
You can catch the full recording of this session online; it is a worthwhile watch if you, or your organisation, is thinking of using AI anytime soon. Even if you are already using AI, it is definitely worth a watch to see what new developments are happening in the space.
Community of Practice members have full access to a range of great resources, including the Digital in Volunteering Toolkit and all of our past event recordings.
