TeamKinetic News and Events

TeamKinetic 2024 Conference

Our conference took place last month and it was a fantastic day! All our speakers ran amazing sessions, giving us some great food for thought and we hope you all found it useful too.

We’re happy to say that all conference recordings are now available to watch online. You can check them out here.

We’re looking forward to next year already so if you fancy delivering a session or being involved in any way, please let us know.

TeamKinetic – New updates and designs

If you weren’t at our conference, we shared some new information about our new website design and branding. You can catch the session below:

Our new branding reflects our core values in a much better way.

  • We will always be a volunteer-centric company.
  • We love technology and we want to allow all customers to leverage these powerful new technologies for good.
  • To build apps that are easy to use and make the act of volunteering easier.
  • We will never charge you more based on the number of volunteers you have.

We wanted a TK brand that retains the concept of teamwork and dynamism, but to make it softer, more friendly, and welcoming. Bringing us here…

We’ve also made some changes to the volunteer UI, which we’d love our users to have a look at.

Have a look here and tell us what you think: https://demo.teamkinetic.co.uk/volunteers/dashboard-beta

Digital in Volunteering Toolkit

Our new Toolkit, designed for volunteer managers, is due for release very soon! If you’d like to be the first to hear about the launch, please fill in this form and we’ll be in touch.

The toolkit was written by Gethyn Williams and supported by the Association of Volunteer Managers. You can find out more via Gethyn’s session from our conference.

TeamTalk Pod – Alan Stevenson on Purpose, Impact, and the Future of Volunteer Scotland

This week on the podcast Chris and Imo chat to Alan Stevenson, CEO of Volunteer Scotland. They discuss the significance of volunteering in today’s world and Alan shares his career journey so far. Alan’s story is a testament to the power of saying “yes” to new opportunities – which coincidentally also makes for a great podcast episode!

User Training

Monthly TeamKinetic Masterclasses

Friday 18th October, 10:00am – 1:30pm on Managing Your Volunteers

An exciting in-depth look at how to use TeamKinetic on a day-to-day basis to manage your volunteer programme better. Partly hands-on, your tutor will talk you through setting up opportunities and allow you to see the system from different users’ perspectives.

After completing this module you will have a good understanding of how each user type interacts with the system, and how to communicate effectively and manage your volunteers and service providers.

You can see all upcoming training sessions and masterclasses within your system by going to Help & Support → Extra Training.

We’re also always looking for new topics to cover in these Masterclasses. If there’s anything regarding the TeamKinetic system that you’re not quite sure on, you can suggest it and we’ll add it to our list of topics to cover. Please email alex@teamkinetic.co.uk with the subject ‘Masterclass Suggestion’, or use the live chat function on our website to pop in and suggest it there.
