Morning
The agenda is packed full of engaging sessions that have something for everyone. We start the day with a welcome from our Director, Chris, then we’ll be joined by Terri Thomason who will discuss the Association of Volunteer Managers. The work done by the AVM is great and they have tons of resources for volunteer managers!
After that, we’ll be treated to a keynote session from Rob Jackson on the changing nature of work and what this may mean for volunteering. His vast experience within the sector makes him an expert on volunteer management and engagement – a session not to be missed.
Subsequently, we’ll have a must-see session for any TeamKinetic users. Rolf will be going through all our upcoming developments including the one you’ve all been waiting for: The new TeamKinetic App. There’ll be plenty of time to ask any questions you have too.
Afternoon
Following a lunch break, we’ll have a few breakout sessions to choose from. Firstly, for the TeamKinetic users, we’ll be joined by Tempo Time Credits and First Advantage. Rachel from Tempo will join us to discuss the new Tempo integrations within the system. Meanwhile, Lee from First Advantage will be discussing how to streamline your DBS check processes, as well as the new integrations with TeamKinetic.
Last but not least, TeamKinetic’s own Steve will be discussing how you can adapt your digital volunteer management solutions to give your volunteers the best experience possible.
Finally, we’ll have three more sessions to choose from. Molly Sweeney, Volunteering Project Manager for Groundwork London in Waltham Forest, has developed a great session based on designing volunteer roles for the modern volunteer. Dr Timo Becker will be delivering a session on developing a strategic framework, called ‘The Logic Model’, to address your stakeholder objectives. Last but not least, Gethyn Williams will be discussing the Digital Volunteer Tool Kit we’ve been developing in collaboration with him and AVM.
To conclude the day, we’ll host some breakout sessions based on your specific sector. Rolf will host a room for any TeamKinetic users who want specific help with anything. While other members of the Team will facilitate discussions between TeamKinetic and non-TK users.
All in all, it looks to be a great day full of information that will no doubt give you something to think about. And don’t worry – if there are two simultaneous sessions that take your fancy, we’ll be recording every session where we have permission from the speaker. The links to these videos will be sent out to all attendees after the conference.
If you have any questions about the conference don’t hesitate to reach out. You can email alex@teamkinetic.co.uk or you can find TeamKinetic on social media and listen to our podcast:
