More than Music: Eurovision 2023
We were honoured to provide Eurovision 2023 with our volunteer management tools. For the event they recruited over 2500 volunteers, with an astounding 11,547 volunteering hours logged through TeamKinetic; that’s over 480 days worth of volunteering!
Volunteers were posted across Liverpool City Centre at Transport Hubs, the Eurovision Village on the Pier Head, and at the Tourist Information Centre in Liverpool ONE. Duties included scanning tickets, meeting and greeting visitors, and welcoming performers to backstage areas in the Eurovision Village.
Inclusivity is a Necessity: Enabling Volunteers with Disabilities
The 2023 NCVO Time Well Spent report found that due to both practical and attitudinal challenges, volunteers with disabilities are less satisfied than volunteers without disabilities. One of our recent blogs takes a look at how increased understanding and inclusivity can help change this.
