Our new privacy statement

Thanks for volunteering with *|ORGNAME|*, you make a real difference to your community!

As you might have heard a new set of data privacy laws, GDPR, are coming that will help to protect you and your data and stop people from using it without your consent.

We have reviewed what data we collect, how we collect it, and what consent we already have from our users along with where and how we store it to make sure we are compliant with the new regulations.

The key points for you as a volunteer are;

Dont Panic! For the vast majority of users there will be little discernable difference, you just have to check a few boxes to confirm your consent and agree to the new EULA the next time you login.

We need your continued consent to pass on some of your personal data to providers of any opportunities you join. This consists of your name, contact details (email and phone number) and any relevant qualifications and other documents you have uploaded. This is only given to the providers of the opportunities you have joined, NO other users can see your personal data.

Check your email preferences to opt in or out of our regular opportunity emails and other group emails sent by *|ORGNAME|*.

If you want to remove your data and account you can do this from your profile page. It immediately becomes unviewable by *|ORGNAME|* and will be completely and securely erased within 14 days.

We need you to agree to our new terms and conditions which have changed to include GDPR specific rules.

Unfortunately without your consent we cannot continue to help you find volunteer opportunities and your account will be deleted.
