It is a long and strenuous climb that takes around 7-9 hours, guaranteed to leave you with stiff legs the next day! But it also leaves you with a big feeling of accomplishment.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6854 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/teamkinetic.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/unnamed-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamkinetic.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/unnamed-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/teamkinetic.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/unnamed-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/teamkinetic.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/unnamed-88x88.png 88w, https:\/\/teamkinetic.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/unnamed.png 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This mountain is a lofty 1,345 meters high. To put this into perspective the London Eye stands at 135 meters high and Big Ben at 96 meters high. They don&#8217;t call it the tallest mountain for nothing! And our TeamKinetic Software Engineer, Rolf Herbert, is about to climb it in aid of Macmillan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rolf&#8217;s Ben Nevis Adventure&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>On the 27th September our software engineer is taking on the Ben Nevis challenge! Rolf is taking this challenge on with 30 team members, with only a few having real experience for such a challenge!<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Macmillan is a superb charity that helps so many people in a positive way, it helps celebrate and appreciate what you have even when you are at risk of losing so much.
