For example, this might be to upload a photo and a piece of ID. You could also direct them to the Resources &amp; Help, where all the documents in your document hub are available, if your volunteers require extra information after registering.<\/span> <br \/><i><\/i><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/0J2hdKsPdrNa0_80-Q3LZ1lAWJP1jhCC9L7msUPl5dxIMmNMzpO7ZWc125J8oDplcHGD7EGuO4y6EPoIccs1Kbc89K8GkVrE4Sm7DgMJZe07unyg4mv5PL0oz-tMVqIFxYubmY3c\" alt=\"\" width=\"258\" height=\"447\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">You can alter options regarding volunteer photo\/ID uploads via the <em>Admin Settings Cog \u2192 TeamKinetic Options \u2192 Everything Else<\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Volunteers can easily access these things through the left-hand-side menu on their dashboard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">They should go to the underlined tabs to upload a picture, ID, and view the document hub (in that order).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also add links to various areas of the system for easy access and attach files to the email. For example, you could <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">share the link to take them straight to a search for COVID-19 related opportunities. This will help highlight ways volunteers can help their local communities.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br><\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can find your shareable link to all COVID-19 opportunities on your admin homepage:&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/cD8bvBvIKPPgFoeLDKM4NAZSskTmPDAZoCu0OT6ao5Ou7nysxSKjstnVKM0jAdb944BD8bH6Du-psYBfu2pJp7Xd6p8Ln1L9KRb1tlm-ZJz9ZZ0JdEhDBLhB4lAiOCefQJYv2EJH\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If necessary, make sure to tell new volunteer about inductions, DBS and ID checks when they first join to allow them to get started with you as soon as possible.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>As an admin, you can keep track of DBS checks via Volunteer Management <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2192 Criminal Checks as well as visiting a volunteer&#8217;s profile directly via Volunteer Management <span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">\u2192 Search Volunteers<\/span>.\u00a0<br \/><br \/><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li>You could also customise the &#8216;joined opp&#8217; email that is sent when a volunteer joins their first opportunity to let them know what you want them to do next. Perhaps explaining the keywords used on the site, such as sessions, the different opportunity types, and how to log hours.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What else can I do to get volunteers started?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Switching on text messages is another great way to keep in contact with your volunteers.
