This feature can help you boost community amongst your volunteers by encouraging social volunteering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When enabled, it allows volunteers to check who else has joined an opportunity they&#8217;re interested in and which shifts they&#8217;ll be doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a variety of controls around this feature and things to note, so <a href=\"https:\/\/teamkinetic.co.uk\/blog\/2026\/07\/volunteer-find-a-friend-teamkinetic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">we&#8217;ve written a blog all about it<\/a>, and we&#8217;ll be hosting a masterclass on it <strong><em>very soon<\/em><\/strong> (Wednesday 5th). You can now house unlimited locations under one single opportunity. <a href=\"https:\/\/teamkinetic.co.uk\/blog\/2026\/03\/multiple-location-opportunities\/\"><em>Read more on Multi-Location Opportunities here.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Volunteer &#8216;Find a Friend&#8217;<\/strong> allows volunteers to see who else is signed up for an opportunity. There are a few controls around this: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you go to your Super Admin Settings \u2192 Options \u2192 Opportunities (and scroll to the bottom), you&#8217;ll see a few options that let you turn this on\/off, specify what information is shown, and set when it is shown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can turn it on\/off on an opportunity-by-opportunity basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteers can opt in or out of sharing their own information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a
