You can now house unlimited locations under one single opportunity. <a href=\"https:\/\/teamkinetic.co.uk\/blog\/2026\/03\/multiple-location-opportunities\/\"><em>Read more on Multi-Location Opportunities here.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Volunteer &#8216;Find a Friend&#8217;<\/strong> allows volunteers to see who else is signed up for an opportunity. There are a few controls around this: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you go to your Super Admin Settings \u2192 Options \u2192 Opportunities (and scroll to the bottom), you&#8217;ll see a few options that let you turn this on\/off, specify what information is shown, and set when it is shown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can turn it on\/off on an opportunity-by-opportunity basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteers can opt in or out of sharing their own information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 A group of people <em>volunteering<\/em> their time towards a political and social drive for positive change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LSE Volunteer Centre have written a fantastic blog on the history of volunteering and the LGBTQ+ Movement, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.lse.ac.uk\/vcb\/2024\/06\/26\/pride-month-the-history-of-volunteering-and-the-lgbtq-movement\/?utm_source=teamkinetic&amp;utm_medium=blog&amp;utm_campaign=teamkinetic_newsletter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">which you can read here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is unfortunate that, after a great deal of progress, we now seem to be regressing in our push for equality. We&#8217;re living in a fractured world where hate is becoming increasingly loud in all spaces, including towards the LGBTQ+ community &#8211; especially our trans friends. Developed by Tempo Time Credits and funded by the National Lottery, it&#8217;s rooted in real-world stories and projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;ve struggled to involve volunteers in meaningful, inclusive, and sustainable ways, this toolkit is for you. While it was developed based on findings in Neath Port Talbot, its principles can apply to any organisation anywhere.
