We&#8217;ll show you how to create opportunities within TeamKinetic and how to effectively promote those opportunities. The session will ensure you get the right volunteers for all of your opportunities every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, <strong>on April 1st, we&#8217;ll be looking at how to use groups within TeamKinetic <\/strong>for effective control and management of volunteers. Groups are a fantastic feature, not only for collating volunteers, but also for reporting and targeted communications. A great session to help you use groups to their full potential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And last but not least, we have a <strong>fantastic guest masterclass on May 6th<\/strong> delivered by Paddy Hanrahan. Paddy has been an experienced leader in the UK volunteering space for a while, but now he&#8217;s sharing his expertise via Patchworks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patchworks is a new organisation helping community organisations produce independent evidence of their impact. It brought in a lot of things to make your volunteer management easier, including a new Integration with Tickets for Good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve had a few people reach out about the process with questions, so we wanted to lay it all out in simple terms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Setting up the integration is simple and can be done directly within your TeamKinetic system:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to the Super Admin Settings Menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Setup and then click on Integrations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Locate the Tickets for Good section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the &#8220;Get Started&#8221; button to begin the process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your organisation meets the Tickets for Good criteria, you&#8217;re good to go! <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FAQ<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What criteria does my organisation need to meet to qualify?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Most TeamKinetic users will meet their criteria &#8211; all registered charities (registered with the Charity Commission), NHS Trusts, and Government-funded schools automatically will. They are willing to make exceptions for CIC\/non-profit organisations and local councils too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are there any setup costs? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>No! The only costs that arise during the whole process will be for your volunteers redeeming tickets &#8211; the tickets are free, but a small booking fee does apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What criteria does the volunteer need to meet to qualify?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The volunteer needs to have logged at least one hour on your system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>You can <a href=\"https:\/\/teamkinetic.co.uk\/blog\/2025\/11\/teamkinetic-2-6-1-major-release\/\">read this blog post<\/a>, which goes through every new feature in our 2.6.1 Update in full.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Digital in Volunteering &#8211; Community of Practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Do you use AI in your personal or professional life?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our most recent CoP event was an excellent session on AI in Volunteering, looking at the nuances of arguments for and against AI. Our speakers shared their work into AI and how they use it themselves in the context of their job roles. Nearly three-quarters (73%) experienced a financial loss, yet only 32% recovered funds. But now, NCVO has written a new open letter, urging Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood to withdraw these proposals.
