It included a lot of things to make your volunteer management easier. Over the last year, 12,643 volunteers gave their time to support over 11,300 people across 87 different projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report highlights some incredible initiatives, from &#8216;Welcome Friends&#8217; in Rhondda Cynon Taf tackling loneliness in older people, to &#8216;Sporting Chance&#8217; in Stockton-on-Tees, empowering men over 50 to take control of their health. It\u2019s a great read that champions the idea of an &#8220;ecosystem of volunteering&#8221; &#8211; recognising that whether it\u2019s a one-off clean-up or systemic change, every action counts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Student Volunteering Week (9th\u201315th Feb)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Student Volunteering Week is back! Led by the Student Volunteering Network, the week focuses on improving student wellbeing and employability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year features daily themes to guide your activities, from &#8216;Micro-Monday&#8217; and &#8216;Wellness Wednesday&#8217; to a &#8216;Sustainable Weekend&#8217; of green opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a great chance to celebrate the amazing work students do in our communities.
