While this might be a smaller release in name, it&#8217;s packed with improvements that lots of you have been asking for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve pulled together a full summary of everything covered, including questions raised during the session. Instead of choosing between super admin and standard admin, you can now specify exactly what each admin can see and do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What new admin roles can I create?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples Steve showed during the session included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Super Admin<\/strong>: unchanged, full access including configuration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>View-Only Admin<\/strong>: can view volunteers, opportunities and reports, but cannot edit anything.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Task-Specific Admin<\/strong>: e.g. someone who can only process expense claims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can providers get extended permissions too?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This was a common question. The direction of our current roadmap is to give you the ability to downgrade administrators rather than upgrade providers. The long-term aim is to let organisations convert some provider users into limited admins, where appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can admins be limited to only certain opportunities?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes. Granular permissions already allow you to restrict which opportunities an admin can access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is this the first version of granular permissions?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes. More options will be added over time based on your feedback &#8211; so make sure you give us plenty via Support Tickets!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Account Assignment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em>Follow along in the recording from <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/-fOBvf3UoGc?si=IuN9uPPMGpDxnMe8&amp;t=578\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">09:38<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is account assignment?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A new feature that lets you assign <em>additional people<\/em> to receive communications about a specific opportunity, beyond the main provider email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now assign:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A specific administrator<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A specific additional provider user<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Any email address<\/strong> (optional custom field)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why is this useful?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It supports real-world workflows such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Job-sharing providers (e.g. one manages Mon\u2013Wed, another Thu\u2013Fri).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admin-led recruitment followed by provider-led delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providers who need multiple colleagues to receive join\/leave notifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organisations with central oversight teams or mailing lists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can I assign more than one additional provider user?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now, one additional provider user can be selected. Multiple users may be considered in future if there is demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can the \u201cassigned email\u201d be anything at all?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, it can be any address, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A mailing list<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A shared inbox<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A finance team member who must see expense-related emails<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Do opportunities have to be linked to a provider for this to work?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes. Provider users only appear in the dropdown if the opportunity belongs to their provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What if all opportunities are created centrally (not under the provider)?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can still use the custom email box to send notifications to additional people. If you\u2019d like to restructure your set-up, the support team can help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can provider users from other providers be assigned?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No, only users attached to the same provider as the opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tickets for Good Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em>Follow along in the recording from <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/-fOBvf3UoGc?si=CnBbUQC-np_ABj1G&amp;t=1103\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">18:23<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is Tickets for Good?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A platform offering free tickets (volunteers pay only a small booking fee) to events such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Concerts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cinema<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultural events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteers simply need to have logged at least one hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do we enable it?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to:<br><strong>Super Admin Settings \u2192 Setup \u2192 Integrations \u2192 Tickets for Good<\/strong>,<br>then follow the \u201cGet Started\u201d link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is the Tickets for Good integration available across all UK nations?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The expectation is that it is UK-wide, but availability depends on participating venues. TeamKinetic will confirm finer details with Tickets for Good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is this automatic for all organisations?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Most charities and non-profits will qualify, but some organisations may not meet the criteria. GoVo supplies a default image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can we use our existing GoVo account?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, simply retrieve your API key via your GoVo dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Log All Hours: Improvements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em>Follow along in the recording from <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/-fOBvf3UoGc?si=5n0KRJijVj7Awy6z&amp;t=1361\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">22:41<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What\u2019s changed?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A few upgrades:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The \u201cmaximum hours\u201d column has been removed after feedback that it caused confusion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can now filter by provider, allowing you to focus on organisations that need support logging hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new checkbox lets you preserve part-logged hours on sessional opps, preventing them being overwritten by accident.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why is this useful?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Admins can now easily mass-log hours for specific providers, especially helpful where providers don\u2019t keep up with logging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Questions Answered During the Session<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can providers be given the ability to update ID or criminal record checks?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Not directly. The plan is to move providers into \u201climited admin\u201d roles over time so they can carry out tasks like ID and DBS updates with appropriate permissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Will the update affect how we currently receive notifications?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No. Your existing setup remains. You now have additional options, but nothing changes automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How many admins can we have?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As many as you need. Admin accounts are one of the few paid-for elements in TeamKinetic, but there is no system limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How many provider users can an organisation have?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlimited.
