The new TeamKinetic app is coming very soon. To kick off the launch, we’ll be hosting an online session where you can come and see the app in action and ask whatever questions are on your mind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will be a great session for anyone interested in the app, especially any of our Enterprise users who are interested in a white-labelled application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13th February: 10am – 1:30pm<\/em> or 13th March: 10am – 1:30pm<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nWe’re hosting some open training for all TeamKinetic users. Our ‘Manage Your Volunteer Programme’ session is an exciting in-depth look at how to use TeamKinetic on a day-to-day basis to manage your volunteer programme better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Partly hands-on, Steve will talk you through setting up opportunities and allow you to see the system from different user’s perspectives. After completing this module you will have a good understanding of how each user type interacts with the system, and how to communicate effectively and manage your volunteers and service providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monthly TeamKinetic Masterclasses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

AVM: Mentoring Scheme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The Association of Volunteer Managers have opened a great mentoring scheme for their members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants can either sign up as mentors or mentees. Mentees will receive guidance and support from people who understand the challenges of leading volunteers and working in the voluntary sector. It is a great opportunity for anyone starting their career or looking for some career development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyone can be a mentor, no matter how far into their career they are. As long as you have lived the experience of engaging volunteers and have knowledge that you can pass on, you are mentor material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s Happening in the Third Sector?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n\u2018Volunteering for Health\u2019 Fund<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
A new \u00a310 million programme has been created to deliver grant funding and tailored support to around 15 local systems to help develop new approaches to volunteering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
NHS England, NHS Charities Together and CW+, have partnered to create the ‘Volunteering for Health’ fund. This three-year programme will accelerate change, break down barriers, test new volunteering models and develop guidance and best practice for all systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Applications were taken in December and this month prospective applicants will be contacted with more information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
